Microsoft Names Angela Nganga Country Lead for East Africa
Microsoft has appointed Angela Nganga as its country lead for East Africa. Based in Nairobi, Nganga will oversee the company's regional operations with a focus on expanding artificial intelligence adoption and technical skills development.
Nganga joined Microsoft in 2012 and previously held positions such as regional director of customer success for East and West Africa, director of corporate affairs for the Middle East and Africa, and education industry director for Africa. Before joining the software provider, she worked at Telkom Kenya and AAR Health Services Ltd.
Nganga's tenure at Microsoft includes over 20 years of experience across telecommunications, healthcare, public affairs, and policy sectors. She expressed her enthusiasm for leading Microsoft's work in East Africa, citing the region's potential as an innovation and AI hub.
