Microsoft Names New Executives Amid Industry Shuffle

Aneesh Raman has joined Microsoft as its Chief Economic Opportunity Officer. He will focus on helping companies deploy AI tools to unlock economic opportunities and human capabilities for workers and workforces.

Raman comes from LinkedIn, a Microsoft subsidiary where he worked for five years in the same role. Before that, he was an adviser to Gov. Gavin Newsom and led economic impact for Facebook.

Jenny Lay-Flurrie has been promoted to corporate vice president of Microsoft's Trusted Technology Group. She had previously held the role of vice president and head of Trusted Technology since February.
