Microsoft Outlook Disrupted for Thousands Amid Widespread Outage
A widespread disruption to Microsoft's Outlook email service has left thousands of users unable to access key features on Monday.
Nearly 6,000 users have reported an outage for Outlook, according to Downdetector, a user-monitoring site. Those affected said they were unable to open, search or send emails through the service.
Microsoft gave an update on their status from X at 3:01 p.m. EST, stating 'We're continuing to fine-tune our remediation strategy as our internal tests progress.' The outage has been impacting users since late morning, with the first status update being reported at 12 p.m. EST.
ChatGPT Work is also experiencing a partial outage, and users across multiple subscription plans may be experiencing several issues. OpenAI confirmed through its status page that they are working on the issue.
