Microsoft Overhauls Windows 11 Interface with WinUI Across Various Areas

Microsoft is making significant changes to the Windows 11 interface by using WinUI across various aspects of the operating system.

The overhaul aims to address the inconsistent design language that plagued previous versions of Windows, starting with Windows 8 and worsening in Windows 10.

Windows 11 marked a huge step forward with its modernized UI surfaces, but Microsoft has continued to update older interfaces with WinUI since its release in 2021.

The company has confirmed that it's rewriting the Start menu, File Properties dialog, and Print Management experience with WinUI, among other areas.
