Microsoft Restores Windows 11 Customization Controls After Years of Complaints
Microsoft is finally restoring Windows 11's customization controls after years of user complaints.
The changes, which are now rolling out to Windows Insiders in the Release Preview channel, include the ability to move the taskbar to any side of the screen and a smaller taskbar option.
The Start menu will also gain separate size options and more control over its Pinned, Recent, and All sections.
Users can hide their name and profile picture from the Start menu as well.
The changes are expected to be available for everyone within the next few weeks.
