Microsoft Rewards Users for Inviting Friends to Use Edge Browser

Microsoft is rewarding users for inviting friends to use its Edge browser on mobile devices. The company's new initiative offers points through Microsoft Rewards, which can be redeemed for Xbox Game Pass or gift cards.

The promotion awards 500 points per successful invitation, up to a maximum of 7,500 points per month. This translates to 90,000 points in a year, assuming the program remains active.

This is not the first time Microsoft has encouraged users to try Edge; earlier this year, the company offered a $2 million prize drop for downloading and using the browser.

The referral program appears only on mobile devices running Android or iOS, with users needing to regularly use Edge to receive the notification. The invited user must sign in and perform searches within 14 days of joining for both parties to earn rewards.
