Microsoft Sells Gaming Franchise Film Rights Package for $300 Million
Microsoft is putting up for sale a package of film rights for its popular gaming franchises, looking to sign a long-term agreement worth over $300 million.
The company has approached Netflix, Paramount, and Universal with the offer, which includes titles like Halo, World of Warcraft, and The Elder Scrolls. However, it's unclear what other franchises will be included in the package.
A representative from Microsoft declined to comment on the matter, as did representatives from the three companies reviewing the offer.
