Microsoft Services Gradually Recover from Global Disruption
Microsoft services started to recover on Tuesday after a technical disruption affected various countries. The issue began on Monday and impacted Exchange Online, Microsoft 365 services, including email, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint Online, and Microsoft Purview.
The disruptions caused problems with logging into accounts, sending and receiving emails, searching the inbox, and running other functions related to email. According to Microsoft, the authentication issue also affected other services outside of Exchange Online.
Microsoft's technical team conducted manual testing on each server before expanding the repair steps to the affected systems. The company reported that inbox connectivity has returned to the expected service level after the repair steps were applied, but the search function has not fully recovered.
