Microsoft's stock has seen a significant surge in recent days, gaining 25% over three days and reaching a nearly eight-month high. This rise comes on the back of the company's remarkably strong quarterly report, which saw revenue increase by 19% in its fiscal fourth quarter, with Azure Cloud and other services' sales climbing 43%, both above Wall Street's projections.

The Windows-maker's shares have been gaining momentum since its earnings report last week, with analysts from Bernstein, Piper Sandler, and Barclays raising their price targets on MSFT stock. Goldman Sachs also added Microsoft to its U.S. Conviction List, keeping a 'Buy' rating with a $640 price target.

The company's Xbox unit has been undergoing changes, with the recent announcement of layoffs and studio sales or spin-offs. However, this news hasn't dampened investor enthusiasm, as analysts remain optimistic about Microsoft's future prospects.
