Microsoft Tackles Windows 11 Bluetooth Bugs with Major Update
Microsoft has released a Windows 11 preview update aimed at fixing Bluetooth bugs that have plagued users for years. The update, version 26200.9359, includes nine individual fixes, with one addressing connection and disconnection speed issues.
A major issue with Bluetooth on Windows 11 is the slow process of disconnecting devices, which can prevent users from connecting to other devices right away. This has been a persistent problem for gamers, who rely on stable connections for their game controllers.
The update also includes improvements to audio calls, including a new Windows volume popup when adjusting the volume of Bluetooth Classic Audio accessories. Additionally, reliability and performance with Low Energy (LE) Audio accessories have been improved.
While this update addresses some of the major issues, Microsoft has stated that it will continue to work on improving Windows 11's driver quality, which should lead to more reliable Bluetooth functionality in the long run.
