Microsoft Targets Sluggish Windows 11 Boot Times

Microsoft has promised faster boot times and improved performance on lower-end PCs running Windows 11.

This is according to Mark Linton, VP of Windows and Devices at Microsoft, who made the announcement at IFA 2026.

An internal build of Windows 11 reportedly offers users significantly faster boot times compared to previous versions of the operating system.

Microsoft has also optimized Windows 11 for 8GB devices, which should improve performance on lower-end PCs that struggle with memory-intensive tasks.
