Microsoft Teams Up with HUMAIN to Tap into Middle Eastern AI Market
Microsoft has announced a long-term strategic collaboration with HUMAIN, a Saudi Arabian AI company owned by the Public Investment Fund. This partnership is significant as it brings Arabic-language AI models into Microsoft's ecosystem through its Foundry platform.
The crux of this partnership includes several steps from both sides. HUMAIN will bring its Arabic-language ALLaM models to the Microsoft ecosystem, which will also be integrated into Microsoft 365 Copilot. This integration will enable companies to create specialized agents using ALLaM for Arabic-language tasks.
Furthermore, HUMAIN's AI specialists will work alongside Microsoft's forward-deployed engineers with customers to accelerate AI from experimentation to production. The two companies will also explore deeper ties and use cases, including productivity, devices, models, infrastructure, and joint go-to-market initiatives.
