Microsoft Tests Major Update to Fix Windows 11's Flawed Bluetooth
Microsoft has acknowledged that its Bluetooth implementation on Windows 11 is plagued by issues and instability. To address this, the company has begun testing a major update with nine notable fixes.
The update, which has been rolled out to testers in the Release Preview Channel of the Insider Program, aims to improve Bluetooth's connection state accuracy, reduce stuttering and disconnects, and provide better audio calling experiences.
One of the key changes is that Bluetooth devices will now correctly reflect their connection status in Quick Settings. This means that if you connect or disconnect a device, it will no longer show as connected when it has actually been disconnected.
The update also includes improvements to the stability of the Bluetooth & devices page in Settings and better microphone compatibility on certain PCs using Bluetooth Classic Audio accessories.
