Microsoft Unveils AI-Powered Tool to Steal Salesforce Customers
Microsoft has launched an AI-powered tool to help partners and customers migrate from Salesforce to its own Dynamics 365 platform. The software giant claims that its 'Dynamics 365 Activate' tool can convert Salesforce implementations with less manual effort and lower migration risk.
The tool uses AI to profile data and entities, identify relationships and dependencies, and surface customizations that require attention. This process gives implementation teams a clearer blueprint for what should move, what should change, and what should be redesigned before migration begins.
Microsoft's vision is to create a single implementation experience that covers starting a new business or process, migrating from an existing tool like Salesforce, or growing a business that already runs Dynamics. The company promises additional CRM and ERP migration scenarios will be launched later this year.
The AI-powered converter is particularly aimed at partners, who can use it to assess Salesforce environments faster and determine what to preserve, simplify, or redesign around AI and agents. This approach empowers teams to focus more time on solution architecture, industry expertise, and change management.
