Microsoft Unveils Exact Azure Sales Figures Amid Growing Investor Demand
Microsoft has finally started disclosing specific quarterly revenue metrics for its Azure cloud platform, addressing years of criticism from Wall Street investors who wanted more transparency. This move reverses a long-standing policy where the company only published percentage growth rates for Azure.
The historical data released by Microsoft shows that Azure sales have been steadily climbing to $29.4 billion in the most recent quarter ending June 2026, representing nearly 30% of total corporate revenues. Total annual sales for Azure topped $100 billion during the most recent fiscal year, up from $75 billion the previous year.
The company will also reorganize its core divisions into 'Agents and Infra' and 'Devices and Consumer,' with Microsoft Corp. CEO Satya Nadella stating that rapid advances in artificial intelligence are transforming Microsoft's overall strategy and product integration.
