Microsoft Unveils Surface Pro 11 Copilot+ Snapdragon X Plus: A 13-Inch AI Tablet with 10-Core Processor
Microsoft has released the Surface Pro 11 Copilot+ Snapdragon X Plus, a 13-inch AI tablet with a 10-core processor. The device is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon X Plus system-on-chip, which includes an integrated Hexagon NPU rated at 45 trillion operations per second for local AI workloads.
The Surface Pro 11 Copilot+ Snapdragon X Plus has a removable Gen 4 solid-state drive with capacities of 256GB, 512GB or 1TB. It also features 16GB LPDDR5x RAM and a 13-inch PixelSense LCD touchscreen with a resolution of 2880 x 1920 and up to a 120 Hz refresh rate.
The device weighs about 1.97 lb without a keyboard and has two USB-C ports for wired connectivity, as well as Wi-Fi support. The Surface Pro 11 Copilot+ Snapdragon X Plus starts at $999 for a base configuration with 16GB RAM and 256GB storage, making it a competitive option in the 2-in-1 AI PC segment.
While the device may not offer peak multi-core performance compared to higher-tier models based on the Snapdragon X Elite processor, it provides essential Copilot+ capabilities and a familiar Surface form factor at a lower cost point.
