Microsoft Unveils Translucent Green Anniversary Xbox Series X25 Limited Edition

Microsoft is launching its Xbox Series X25 Limited Edition to celebrate the upcoming 25-year anniversary of the Xbox console.

The special-edition console features a semi-transparent green shell, revealing the interior components. This design pays homage to the transparent plastic aesthetic popular in the late 90s and early 2000s, such as the Game Boy Advance from 2001.

The 'translucent OG Green' design allows owners to witness how Xbox technology has evolved over the past quarter century. The console includes a free download of Halo: Campaign Evolved remake and comes with a translucent green controller.

The Xbox 25th anniversary collection will officially launch on November 13, but preorders are available now via an email invite or starting at 7 a.m. PST on August 27. The standard 1TB disc-drive model costs $799, while the special-edition X25 model is priced at $899.
