Microsoft's Project Zenith Brings Developer-Friendly Windows 11 Experience
Microsoft has announced Project Zenith, a new initiative aimed at providing a tailored Windows 11 experience for developers. The project will come with pre-enabled settings and pre-installed apps to reduce the amount of work developers need to do to start working on their projects.
The devices that will be part of Project Zenith must have at least 64 GB of unified memory and at least 250 GB/s memory bandwidth. However, it's worth noting that these features are not exclusive to Project Zenith devices and can be manually set up by users themselves.
One of the key benefits of Project Zenith is its potential to improve developer productivity and efficiency. By providing a streamlined experience, developers can focus on their work without having to worry about setting up their environment from scratch.
The concept of tailoring Windows 11 for specific use cases has been explored before, with Microsoft previously releasing Windows 10X and Windows 10 S mode. However, these attempts were ultimately unsuccessful in gaining widespread adoption.
