Microsoft's services experienced widespread outages on Monday, affecting users of Microsoft 365, Outlook, and ChatGPT. The issue began around 10:15 a.m., with Downdetector reporting over 6,000 reports of issues with Outlook.
The Microsoft 365 Status account confirmed the outage, stating that users may experience degraded functionality with various Exchange Online functionalities. The company said it was reviewing service telemetry and diagnostic data to isolate the source of the issue.
The outage peaked around 12:48 p.m., with 2,044 reports on Downdetector. ChatGPT also experienced issues, with OpenAI reporting a partial outage and stating that users may be unable to start or continue tasks in ChatGPT Work.
