Minnesota Woman Lynne Baardsen Passes Away at 81

Lynne Baardsen, an 81-year-old woman from Minnesota, passed away on September 7, 2026. She was born in Minneapolis, MN on July 30, 1945 to Robert and Marion Johnson. Lynne spent most of her life with her husband Gordon, whom she met while working at Honeywell.

The couple moved to Perham, Minnesota to raise their family, where Lynne focused on being a homemaker and taking on odd jobs throughout the years. After retiring, they became 'snow-birds' in South Texas, splitting their time between there and Perham.

Lynne's love for her family was evident through her numerous hobbies, including bingo, shopping, decorating, and playing cards. She also enjoyed drawing, painting, reading, gardening, fishing, dancing, cooking, and baking. Her true passion, however, was equestrianism, which she pursued since childhood.

A memorial service will be held on September 12, 2026 at Schoeneberger Funeral & Cremation Service in Perham to honor Lynne's memory.
