Mirendil Expands Use of Google Cloud's AI Hypercomputer for Advanced AI Model Training
Mirendil, a frontier AI research company, has expanded its use of Google Cloud's AI Hypercomputer to support advanced artificial intelligence model training. The company will utilize a combination of Google Tensor Processing Units (TPUs) and NVIDIA accelerated computing infrastructure running on Google Cloud.
The TPU and GPU infrastructure will enable Mirendil to match individual workloads with the computing architecture best suited to each task, allowing for more efficient AI model training. This expansion is part of Mirendil's broader objective to make frontier AI research capabilities available to a larger group of scientists and engineers.
The deployment of Google Cloud's AI Hypercomputer provides purpose-built infrastructure spanning accelerators, software, networking, and storage for model training, inference, and advanced research. The companies collaborated on a system that uses managed training clusters running through the Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform, streamlining the provisioning and management of Mirendil's TPU and GPU environments.
Mirendil is developing AI systems designed to accelerate the research process itself, helping scientists and engineers design experiments, evaluate results, and iterate more efficiently.
