Modders Boost PC Gaming Performance with Nvidia's DLSS 5

Modders are making it easier for PC gamers to use Nvidia's DLSS 5 technology, which was initially only supported by one game, NBA 2K27. The DLSS 5 Swapper app automates the process of adding required files to unsupported games, allowing players to easily enable the feature.

The app can even detect games on a player's PC that can be modded with DLSS 5. However, not all games are supported, and some may experience image degradation or artifacts when using the 'neural upstream' add-on.

Tests have shown that running the neural rendering process before the DLSS upscaling happens can improve performance by up to 20% in certain games. This is achieved through the DLSS 5 Autopilot mod, which also includes the feeder mod and neural upstream add-on.
