Monsters Inc Flying Door Coaster Nears Completion at Disney's Hollywood Studios

New aerial photos have revealed significant progress on the Monsters Inc flying door coaster at Disney's Hollywood Studios. The ride building is now substantially enclosed, with roof decking installed across a large portion of the structure and steel framework continuing to rise on sections still under construction.

A substantial quantity of Vekoma coaster track has been staged at an off-site delivery area near EPCOT, indicating that installation will follow as the building reaches completion. Disney confirmed at D23 last month that parts of Monstropolis will open in 2027, with the flying door coaster following in 2028.
