Monstropolis Coming to Disney's Hollywood Studios in 2027

Disney's Hollywood Studios is gearing up to welcome guests to Monstropolis in 2027, as part of its expansion plans. The land will feature a door coaster, among other attractions, and will be themed around the monster world from the Monsters, Inc. franchise.

The announcement was made at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event, where Disney Legend Randy Newman revealed that he has composed a new song titled 'Welcome to Monstropolis' specifically for the land. The song will debut alongside Monstropolis in 2027 and will also lend its name to a new show at the Glob Theater.

The land will include various dining locations, including Archie's Scare Pig Pizza, which will offer slices of Monstropolis' top-rated pizza. Guests can also visit the Monsters University Alumni Club, which will showcase the university's clubs, fraternities, and sororities.
