Monstropolis Delays Door Vault Coaster, But Brings Exciting New Attractions

Monstropolis, the new land dedicated to Monsters, Inc., is set to open in Disney's Hollywood Studios in 2027. While fans are eagerly anticipating the opening of this immersive experience, they will have to wait a bit longer for the door vault coaster.

The roller coaster, which will take riders on an exhilarating adventure through the Monstropolis factory, will not be ready for opening day. According to Disney, the coaster is still in development and will open at a later date, although no specific timeline has been announced.

Despite this setback, guests can look forward to experiencing other aspects of Monstropolis when it opens in 2027. The land will feature several new restaurants, including Archie's Scare Pig Pizza, as well as the Monster University Alumni Club and Harryhausen's Restaurant.
