Monstropolis Entrance Columns Restarted Amid Ongoing Construction
Disney has restarted construction on the entrance columns for Monstropolis in Disney's Hollywood Studios. This marks the third set of columns to be installed, following the demolition of the previous ones just a few weeks ago.
The new columns consist of rebar and concrete forms, standing a few feet above the construction walls. The two outer columns are shorter than their inner counterparts, similar to the design change that was previously noted from the Monstropolis concept art.
Meanwhile, work on the Glob Clock Tower continues, with plastic tape covering the clock face in preparation for painting. The brickwork around the clock has been redone and will soon need to be repainted.
