Monstropolis to Open at Disney's Hollywood Studios Starting 2027

Disney's Hollywood Studios is getting ready to welcome its newest land, Monstropolis. Scheduled to open in phases starting from 2027, this new area will be dedicated entirely to the beloved Disney-Pixar film Monsters, Inc.

The land will take over the former Muppets Courtyard and feature a door coaster, which is currently under construction. While some parts of Monstropolis will open to guests in 2027, it's clear that this expansion is still a work in progress.

Disney has also announced more details about Harryhausen's, the restaurant located within Monstropolis. The land will also feature other dining and shopping venues for visitors to enjoy.
