Montana Man Timothy Wise Leaves Lasting Impact After Devoted Life of Service
Timothy Wise, a 71-year-old Montana native, passed away on September 3rd at his home. Born in Kalispell in 1955 and raised in the family's grocery store, Tim spent over four decades serving his community. He was a member of the Flathead County Sheriff Posse and Reserves for more than two decades, ran his own private security business, and worked as a merchandiser at Home Depot and Lowes before finishing his career as a MT Meat Inspector.
Tim was known for his warm smile and welcoming nature. He would often go out of his way to help those in need, whether it was providing a meal or offering a tooth-pulling ice cream cone deal to local kids. His love for God, family, and community was unwavering.
A private celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Montana's Special Olympics or Kalispell's First Church of the Nazarene's Trunk or Treat Celebration. Tim leaves behind his children, Karissa Prewitt, Tiffany Sinner, Matthew Wise, and Savannah Wise, as well as nine grandchildren who were his world.
