Moore Threads Revenue Skyrockets, China's GPU Sector Booms
Moore Threads, China's 'Nvidia alternative', reported a significant growth in revenue for the first half of 2026. The company posted 1.736 billion yuan ($257 million) in revenue, up 147.42 percent year-on-year, outpacing its full-year figure in 2025.
The growth is attributed to the booming demand for artificial intelligence (AI) and the commercialization of Moore Threads' Kuae intelligent computing clusters.
The company maintained heavy research and development spending of 769 million yuan in the first half, up 38.16 percent year-on-year, bringing cumulative investment since 2022 close to 5.9 billion yuan.
Moore Threads has filed 2,167 patent applications and holds 788 authorized patents as of June.
