Anthropic, an artificial intelligence company, is gearing up to file its initial public offering (IPO) paperwork as soon as next week. Morgan Stanley and Goldman Sachs are reportedly in contention for lead roles in the offering, with Morgan Stanley poised to secure the lead left position.

The Financial Times has cited people familiar with the matter, stating that Morgan Stanley has been leading discussions with potential investors about the company's share price for the offering. Goldman Sachs is expected to serve as the stabilization agent, overseeing initial trading sessions when Anthropic begins trading.

JPMorgan, Citigroup, and Barclays are also among the banks expected to get key roles in the IPO. The selection of Morgan Stanley for the lead left position has not been finalized and could still change.
