Motorola Backs Google in Payment Dispute with DOJ

Motorola has submitted an amicus brief to the D.C. Circuit in support of Google's position regarding payments for incorporating Google search into devices.

The U.S. Department of Justice has argued that Google should not be allowed to pay cellphone manufacturers, including Motorola, to feature Google search on their products.

Motorola claims that these payments are 'vital' and that a complete ban would harm consumers.
