MSD Names Mary Srethapakdi as New Managing Director for Philippines
Merck & Co., Inc's MSD has appointed Mary Srethapakdi as Managing Director for the Philippines, a role that also includes overseeing operations in Thailand. She succeeds Andreas Riedel, who is now Managing Director for MSD Vietnam. With over 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors, Srethapakdi has held senior leadership positions at leading companies and advised global healthcare organizations.
Srethapakdi joined MSD as Managing Director for Thailand in 2021 and has since driven business growth and initiatives to improve patient access. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Biochemistry and a PhD in Molecular Biology from Cornell University.
As Managing Director for the Philippines, Srethapakdi will focus on expanding access to innovative medicines and vaccines, strengthening healthcare partnerships, and addressing evolving patient needs. Her priorities include deepening collaboration with healthcare stakeholders and improving patient access across the country.
