My Syria: New Digital Platform Simplifies Travel for Syrian Tourism
The Syrian tourism sector is experiencing significant growth, with visitor arrivals more than doubling during the first half of 2026. To capitalize on this trend, a new digital platform called My Syria has been launched to simplify travel and tourism services for both locals and international visitors.
Developed by UAE-based startup 121 Living, founded by Syrian entrepreneurs Rami Kaiem, Feras Kaiem, Waseem Qudmani, and Kinan Madi, the My Syria app is the first integrated super app for tourism, lifestyle services, and digital payments in Syria. The platform currently offers eight services, including hotel bookings, restaurants, transportation, tourist attractions, experiences, food delivery, and more.
The initiative has strategic support from Syria's Ministry of Tourism, which aims to accelerate the country's digital transformation by simplifying travel, tourism, and lifestyle services while expanding the platform's geographic coverage and service offering in future phases. My Syria is also notable for supporting cross-border digital payments through Apple Pay, Google Pay, Visa, Mastercard, and American Express.
