Mystery Fitness Tracker in Pixel Ads Sparks Speculation on Next-Gen Fitbit Charge
Google has been advertising its new Pixel 11 lineup, but one of the devices appearing in the campaign is difficult to identify. A mystery screen-equipped fitness band shows up in multiple Google Australia ads, and an unreleased Fitbit Charge 7 seems like a plausible explanation.
A Reddit user spotted the wearable among Pixel phones, Pixel Watch 5, and Pixel Buds, with Google telling buyers to 'Make it a matching set.'
The tracker has a rounded rectangular display inside a similarly rounded case. The screen shows the time alongside small circular complications, ruling out the Fitbit Air and Charge 6 as possible matches.
Given the long wait for a successor to the Charge 6, which arrived in 2023, the mystery device looks like it could be a modernized version of the tracker. Google has promised new Fitbit hardware in 2026, but this could arrive sooner.
