National Airlines Sets Record with Longest Commercial Boeing 777 Freight Flight
National Airlines has achieved what it believes to be the world's longest commercial Boeing 777 freighter flight. The airline operated nonstop from Glasgow Prestwick in Scotland to Melbourne, Australia, covering an incredible 9,849 nautical miles in 19 hours and 23 minutes.
The flight was part of National Airlines' growing operations with its new fleet of Boeing 777-200 freighters. The company has taken delivery of three of these aircraft within the past four months and expects to add a fourth soon.
National Airlines operates a diverse range of cargo services, including charter flights for direct shippers, multinational manufacturers, e-commerce organizations, entertainment groups, and government agencies. Its fleet also includes Boeing 747Fs, as well as Airbus A330-300 and A330-200 passenger aircraft.
