National Pension Service purchased an additional 57,299 shares of Visa Inc. (V) during the second quarter, increasing its position in the company by 1.7%. The institutional investor now owns 3,456,128 shares of Visa's stock, making it the credit-card processor's 24th largest position in National Pension Service's investment portfolio.
The value of Visa's shares owned by National Pension Service is approximately $1.19 billion, representing about 0.8% of its total investments. Other large investors have also modified their holdings in Visa, including XXEC Inc., which increased its stake by 153,118.8%, and Cardano Risk Management B.V., which lifted its position by 867.6%. Diamant Asset Management Inc. acquired a significant amount of shares as well, increasing its holding by 29,706.3%.
Visa's stock price has been trading relatively stable, opening at $367.92 on Thursday. The company has a market capitalization of $656.53 billion and a P/E ratio of 31.29. Visa's CEO, Ryan McInerney, sold 20,970 shares in June, reducing his stake by 58.02%.
