Naver has announced its AI factory deal, backed by Nvidia's $1 billion equity investment and Brookfield's infrastructure investment of up to $9 billion.

The partnership will secure graphics processing units (GPUs) from Nvidia through strategic cooperation, reducing Naver's financial burden on the project.

Brookfield will invest up to $9 billion in a special-purpose vehicle (SPV), which will purchase or own the GPUs and data center facilities needed for the AI factory.

Naver will pay the SPV for computing usage instead of purchasing all facilities upfront, minimizing its initial investment burden.
