Navy Official Lands in Reno on US Government Jet
A U.S. government official plane landed at Reno-Tahoe International Airport on August 21, 2026. The aircraft was identified as a U.S. Air Force Boeing C-40B/C, a military and VIP version of the Boeing 737-700. This plane is used to transport senior U.S. officials.
The Navy official on board was in town to speak at the Tailhook convention at the Grand Sierra Resort. The event brings together active-duty Navy and Marine Corps aviators, senior military leadership, veterans, defense/aerospace industry representatives, researchers, and others involved in carrier aviation.
