The U.S. Navy has placed an order for the Boeing GBU-75, a turbojet-powered version of the Joint Direct Attack Munition (JDAM). The $75 million order marks the entry of the JDAM-Long Range into production.

The GBU-75 features the Kratos Technical Directions Inc. (TDI)-J85 Spartan engine, which provides extended range capabilities for the cruise missile. This upgrade will enable the JDAM to cover longer distances and engage targets more effectively.

The order demonstrates the Navy's commitment to modernizing its military arsenal and improving its combat capabilities.
