NC and Microsoft Korea Bolster Partnership for AION 2 Global Launch
NC and Microsoft Korea have strengthened their partnership to prepare for and operate the global service of 'AION 2', an online game. The two companies met on October 14th at the NC R&D Center in Pangyo, Seongnam, Gyeonggi Province, to discuss collaboration plans.
NC Chief Business Officer (CBO) Seung-wook Baek and Microsoft Korea CEO Won-woo Cho attended the meeting. The partnership aims to leverage Microsoft Azure's global infrastructure to handle large-scale concurrent user surges and regional traffic fluctuations while establishing a stable service environment.
Microsoft will provide support ranging from pre-launch performance verification to post-launch incident response through its global technical organization and dedicated Korea team. The two companies also plan to gradually expand the scope of their collaboration through joint marketing with Microsoft's global gaming organization.
