.NET Conf 2026 Announced for November

Microsoft has announced that its virtual .NET Conf will take place on November 10-12, 2026. The event is free and online, allowing developers to participate from anywhere in the world. Microsoft's Jon Galloway writes that the conference will feature three days of learning and catching up with the .NET community, as well as the launch of .NET 11.

.NET 11 has been in development all year, with several pre-release builds released throughout the year. Some notable updates include C# 15 union types, the move to CoreCLR for .NET MAUI apps on Android, iOS, and Mac Catalyst, async validation for minimal APIs, and the MCP C# SDK.
