Network Airline Management Expands Cargo Fleet with Fifth Boeing 747-400BCF

A Boeing 747-400BCF, which previously flew for Saudia and EVA Air, has joined Network Airline Management's cargo fleet. The aircraft, registered as 9H-AKA, has a 31-year history, having first flown in 1995 with EVA Air.

Initially configured as a commercial jet, it was later converted into a Boeing 747-400M (combi) until 2009. After another reconfiguration in 2009, the aircraft operated as a freighter for both Saudia Cargo and Air Atlanta Icelandic before joining Network Airline Management.

Now operated by Air Atlanta Europe, the Boeing 747-400BCF has recently flown to N’Djamena International Airport (NDJ) and Nairobi Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (NBO). It will be based at Liege Airport (LGG) in Belgium, where Network Airline Management is headquartered.

Jonathan Clark, CEO of Network Aviation Group, stated that welcoming the fifth Boeing 747 freighter into service was a major milestone for Network Airline Management. He emphasized the importance of the B747 as the 'undisputed workhorse of heavy-lift air cargo.'
