New Airports Announced for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024
Flight simulation enthusiasts have been treated to several exciting announcements in recent days. Fly2High has announced that its William P. Hobby Airport (KHOU), serving Houston, Texas, US, will be released next week for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024.
The airport will include screenshots and a video, available on Facebook. Additionally, Orbx and indie developer Andreas Hegi have announced Pierce County Airport (KPLU), also known as Thun Field, which is located in the Pacific Northwest. The airport will feature complete depiction of Pierce County Airport, charming bespoke details, UHD PBR texturing, and dynamic night lighting.
Meanwhile, Gate15 Scenery has released new work-in-progress screenshots of Kitadaito Airport (RORK) in Japan. In a development update, the team mentioned that the airport is now in its final stages, with last adjustments currently underway to fine-tune the terrain around the airport and capture the unique atmosphere and scenery of Kita-Daito.
