The global data and AI ecosystem has seen significant leadership changes in recent times. Clootrack, a voice-of-the-customer intelligence firm, has named Uma Raghavan as its new Chief Data Officer. With over 30 years of experience building web-scale data platforms across retail, e-commerce, and logistics, Raghavan brings a wealth of expertise to her new role.
In another significant appointment, New York Life has appointed Zhen Zhao as its Chief AI Officer. Zhao joins the firm from Chubb, where he served as Senior Vice President and Global Head of AI Platform leading LLMOps, machine learning, and AI governance.
American Express has also made a notable move by naming Yan Zhang, Ph.D., as Vice President, Data Science & Analytics within its Finance organization. Zhang transitions from BMO, where she served as Director of Data Science & AI (Applied AI) leading generative AI platform deployments, fraud detection, and financial risk models.
Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center has promoted Bhavna Mehta to Vice President and Chief Data Officer, naming her the institution's inaugural CDO. As a member of the CDO Magazine Global Board and Epic CDAIO Advisory Council, Mehta previously served as Assistant Vice President of Enterprise Data and Analytics.
