New Mural Celebrates Growth at Oberle Academy

The Oberle Academy in Fredericksburg has unveiled a new mural celebrating growth and transformation. Local artists Gabe Pons of PONSHOP Studio & Gallery and Sophia Pineda (Sophiola) collaborated on the project, which was inspired by student Allen's love of butterflies, wildlife, and nature.

The design reflects the Oberle Academy community's values and has become a meaningful addition to the campus. The school expresses gratitude to Gabe and Sophia for donating their time and talent, as well as Sherwin-Williams, who donated paint and materials to bring the vision to life.

This project was a community effort, with Community Paint Days where members showed up to help paint the mural. The Oberle Academy notes that this art installation is now part of the campus for students, staff, families, and visitors to enjoy.
