Newcastle Secures Multi-Million Pound Sponsorship Deals with SumUp and Coca-Cola
Newcastle United is on the verge of announcing two significant sponsorship deals, according to reports. The club has already secured an agreement with SumUp, a remote electronic payment company, to become its new training-kit sponsor.
This deal will make Newcastle one of only three Premier League clubs to have fully commercialized its training-ground operation, generating £11 million (€12.8 million) annually from its new training-ground partnerships alone.
Coca-Cola is also set to replace Sela as the sponsor of the Stack fan zone, a lucrative partnership that will boost revenue by tens of millions a year.
The deals are part of Newcastle's efforts to expand its commercial income following the PIF-led takeover. The club is working towards increasing revenue at St James' Park, and these agreements are expected to be multi-million-pound contracts.
