Nike Unveils Upgraded Kobe 10 Protro With Advanced Cushioning

Nike has announced an upgrade to the Kobe 10, one of Kobe Bryant's signature shoes. The new 'Protro' version features advanced technology and engineering capabilities. One major change is in the cushioning system, which replaces Lunarlon foam and heel Air Zoom cushioning with Nike's proprietary Cushlon 3.0 foam and a full-length Zoom Strobel. This update aims to provide improved responsiveness and energy return.

Nike designers collaborated with the company's Sports Research Lab to reengineer the outsole, gathering movement data to ensure consistent traction capabilities. The carbon fiber forefoot wing for lateral stability remains unchanged. A 'Halo' tribute release is part of this upgrade, paying homage to Kobe Bryant.
