No Transparency Slider Coming to Windows 11

Microsoft has confirmed that it will not be introducing a customizable UI transparency slider on Windows 11, despite user requests for such a feature. The decision comes after Partner Director of Design at Microsoft, March Rogers, stated in a recent tweet that the company had 'thought hard about who would benefit' from the investment and considered usability and accessibility factors.

The lack of a transparency slider is not entirely unexpected, as users have long been able to turn transparency on or off, but with no fine-tuning options available. Third-party apps like Windhawk do offer customization options for these effects, but they are not natively supported by the OS itself.

Microsoft's decision has been met with some disappointment from users who were hoping for a more customizable Windows experience. However, Rogers' statement also acknowledged that the company values user feedback and is open to considering new features in future updates.
