North Haven Resident Betty Fiasconaro Passes Away at Age 90
Betty Fiasconaro, a 90-year-old North Haven resident, passed away peacefully on September 12th, 2026, at The Landing, surrounded by her family. Born in New Haven on August 27, 1936, she was the daughter of Frank and Josephine Hauser Stock.
Betty's life was marked by her love for community activities. She enjoyed playing bingo, Mahjong, Rummikub, bocci, bowling, and knitting. She was an active member of several organizations, including the Jolly Timers, the North Haven Senior Center, and the Saturday morning Seniors at McDonald's in North Haven.
She is survived by her husband Raymond L. Fiasconaro, who she was married to for 67 years, their children Daniel Fiasconaro (Lisa), Kathy Umlauf, and Stephen Fiasconaro (Lee Ann), as well as six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, the family requests charitable contributions be made in her name to Animal Haven, Inc.
The visiting hours for Betty will take place on Thursday morning, September 17th, from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at The Havens Family North Haven Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian burial will follow at St. Therese Church/St Pier Giorgio Frassati Parish, and she will be interred in All Saints Cemetery.
