Northern Ireland Gifting Firm Needi Nets £1m Follow-On Investment
North Ireland-based corporate gifting firm Needi has secured £1m in follow-on backing from existing investor Investment Fund for Northern Ireland (IFNI). This brings the company's total funding to £2.4m, with IFNI providing equity funding to accelerate development of its technology platform.
Founded by Louise Doyle and Steph Scholes in 2021, Needi allows companies to offer thoughtful gifts to employees and customers. The firm works with over 150 organisations, including global brands like Microsoft, Spotify, Intuit, and DPD.
Needi's platform has been used for various corporate gifting experiences, such as delivering personalised Christmas gifts to 15,000 drivers at DPD, and creating 'Microsoftopoly' for a major milestone at Microsoft.
According to Needi, it has generated more than £3m in sales since its launch, with over 90% of customers returning to use the platform again. The company's growth has been driven by strong year-on-year revenue increases, reaching £1.6m last year.
